It’s a prize pie. 1st Place Award Winner. I almost had to walk it to the contest with two babies in tow. My sweet husband was late coming home from an hour away at work and we only had one car. Poor as little church mice those days. Thank goodness he pulled up as we were walking down the driveway with my two babies in their baby pram and pie.
So it’s an “olde” to the pie I hold close to my memories heart.
And, this pie loves a flaky crust of a shell to hold its delicious bowl of peaches.
